Why get a Sweeps Ring?

LockTop dampers are "glued" to the clay/ceramic liner using a silicone adhesive... to remove the damper for cleaning, the seal needs to be cut.  Following cleaning, the damper needs to be re-installed with new adhesive.

By installing a sweeps ring... ONLY the sweeps ring is adhered to the liner and the LockTop bolted on...

Now removal of the LockTop is with 4 bolts...
